Description

Always singing the same karaoke tune while shooting:
☁ 🎶"I can get no integration..."🎵☁

Unfiltered, what I dislike about DSO imaging is sitting in front of the PC for hours and hours fixing the imperfect sky and my own stupidity for instance shooting with dust specks on the sensor or the shutter set to Time instead of Bulb. Not speaking of my inability to use Siril correctly and persistent ignorance of calibration frames. Anyway,

Occasionally, clouds covered the moon, useful but not for too long. Minutes later they are telling me "go to bed, silly old man". Total pants these clouds.

Rather than uploading five images separately I packed'm all in single upload to reduce the risk of demotivating you down to 20%.

In spite of moonlight and dust specks on the sensor, so far my best Pleiades (Subaru in Japanese), in terms of amount of captured nebulosity.

Check out the song "Subaru" (昴) by Japanese singer and composer Tanimura Shinji (谷村新司) say, on YouTube, and play the song while looking at the picture.

In the Revisions:

B: Constellation of Andromeda, D5300, 28mm lens at f2.8, ISO800, 30sec x 60, LPF

C: Constellation of Orion, D5300, 50mm lens at f4.0, ISO800, 60sec x 60, LPF, image shifted due to poor polar alignment of the StarAdventurer in that the Witch Head ain't on it.

D: Andromeda Galaxy, D5500, TS-71SDQ, 450mm, ISO800, 120sec x 55, LPF. The core is overexposed. Before I could take frames with less exposures clouds stopped my rendezvous with Andromeda.

E: The rising moon with TS-71SDQ, D5500, 1/4000 sec x 27 at ISO800.
